Stop by for AAO’s osteopathic education service
Monday, 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Once again this year, the American Academy of Osteopathy (AAO) is offering its free Osteopathic Education Service (OES) to conference goers, including guests and exhibitors in the exhibit hall.
During these sessions, provided for educational purposes only, AAO members and others provide hands-on demonstrations of osteopathic diagnostic and treatment techniques. Participants will be matched with volunteer physicians in both private and group sessions.
DOs from all specialties are invited to volunteer to demonstrate their palpatory and treatment skills at the OES. Volunteers earn 0.5 credit of AOA Category I-B continuing medical education for each person they see at the OES. While the AAO prefers that volunteering DOs register for the OES in advance, registration will be accepted on-site.
For more information about this event, visit the OES on site in the convention center.
Are you up for a challenge?
Play Medical Pursuit, a fun game to test your medical knowledge. To play you must visit the participating companies listed on the game card to learn the answer to the question. The participating company will provide you with a unique sticker for your card. By 2 p.m. Monday, deposit your completed card in the raffle bin labeled Medical Pursuit located at the exit to the exhibit hall.
